Match Preview

The Croatian national team will serve the Czech Republic national team on the second matchday of Group D Euro 2020 at Hampden Park, Glasgow, Friday (6/18/2021).

The two teams achieved contrasting results in their respective first matches. Luka Modric and his friends lost 0-1 to England at Wembley, while Ceska defeated Scotland 2-0 at Hampden Park through a pair of Patrik Schick goals.

Ceska will return to play at Hampden Park, and this time his opponent is the Croatian national team. The Czech Republic is ready to fight for a second win, but Croatia is determined to bounce back to keep their chances of qualifying for the next phase.

Despite being defeated by England in the first match, Croatia has players such as Modric, Ivan Perisic, Marcelo Brozovic, and Ante Rebic. They still have a chance to compete in this group.

The last meeting between Croatia and the Czech Republic was in the group stage of Euro 2016. The match ended 2-2. One of the Croatian goals was scored by Perisic, who is currently also in their squad.

The Croatian national team has never lost against the Czech Republic. Will that record continues in Glasgow?
