Germany will face a life and death match against Hungary, in the third match of Group F Euro 2020at the Allianz Arena, Munich, Thursday (24/6) at midnight.

This match is very important because both teams still have a chance to qualify for the Round of 16 of the European Cup 2020. Currently, Germany has three points, while Hungary has one point.

The passage of these two teams to compete in the last 16 is also determined by another match that brings France against Portugal. If you want to qualify, Germany must at least win against Hungary.

France temporarily leads Group F standings with 4 points and +1 goal difference. Below that, there are Germany (3 points; +1 goal difference), Portugal (3 points; +1 goal difference), and Hungary (1 point; -3 goal difference).

Team Condition

With the victory against Portugal, the mentality of the German players is getting better compared to the first match against France. The appearances of Kai Havertz and Robin Gosens are believed to be the focus of Joachim Low in the match against Hungary later.

Both did very well against Portugal. Even these two players were able to score one goal each to bring Germany to a 4-2 win over Portugal.

On the other hand, Hungary also came with good results and mentality. How not, before this match they managed to draw the 2018 world champions, France with a score of 1-1 at the Puskas Arena.

Currently from Group F, France has already qualified with a guaranteed top-three finish. Germany will follow to qualify if they do not lose the match later. On the other hand, Hungary will qualify if they can win.
